About Wonkyeye Photography

Wonky Eye was established in August 2009 by partners Andy Greaves and Michelle Dolan after returning from a six-month trip in Eastern and Southern Africa.

Having met on independent travels in Sydney, Australia, Andy and Michelle have spent much of the last five years dipping in and out of their ‘day jobs’, as a Graphic Designer and Secondary School Teacher, to travel the world in search of interesting images. So far, this has taken them to countries including Vietnam, Thailand, Iceland, Russia, Cuba, Belize, Guatemala, Mexico, USA, Spain, Italy, Egypt, Uganda, Rwanda, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Tanzania.

Their trip to Africa gave them an opportunity to test their developing photographic skills. Time spent living in small villages, meeting locals and enjoying many close encounters with rare and wonderful wildlife, has added another dimension to their photography.
