Snow Snow Snow
With all of this snow around, what better to photograph then what’s around us!
Taking photos in these white conditions is quite hard, it’s all about understanding your white balance, but if you don’t get that right first off having a RAW image will allow you to easily change the temperature etc. in photoshop afterwards. But clear skies on a wintery day give a beautiful crisp blue background, like in the rose photo.
Unfortunately London isn’t too picturesque at the moment, due to more sleet then snow but hopefully we’ll be able to make it to one of the parks at the weekend and have some good ‘wintery photos’ to show you next week. For now though these are some photos from around my home house (Co. Roscommon, Ireland) at Christmas.
